RRudra

Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 July 2026 · Governed by the laws of India

These terms are an agreement between you and Rudra AI Labs (“Rudra”) covering the Rudra wellness app, rudraailabs.com, and the Rudra practitioner platform. By creating an account or using the services, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

Rudra is not an emergency or crisis service and is not a substitute for emergency care. In a crisis, call Tele-MANAS at 14416 (24×7, free) or your local emergency number.

1. What Rudra is — and is not

  • The Rudra app provides wellness tools (mood tracking, journaling, an AI companion) and a way to find and book sessions with independent, verified mental-health practitioners.
  • Rudra is a platform, not a healthcare provider. Practitioners on Rudra are independent professionals responsible for the care they provide. Rudra verifies their credentials before they can practise on the platform, but the therapeutic relationship is between you and your practitioner.
  • The AI companion is a supportive tool, not a clinician. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and its suggestions are not medical advice.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 and capable of entering a contract under Indian law. Keep your login credentials private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give us accurate information, and tell us promptly if you believe your account is compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the services unlawfully, or to harm, harass, or impersonate anyone;
  • attempt to break, probe, or overload our security or infrastructure;
  • scrape, resell, or copy the services or other users’ data;
  • upload content you have no right to share, or malware of any kind;
  • misrepresent professional credentials (practitioners).

4. Practitioners — additional terms

Practitioners must hold, and keep current, the qualifications and registrations they submit for verification; provide care within their competence and applicable professional codes (including RCI norms where applicable); maintain the confidentiality of client information; and keep clinical records as their profession requires. Verification may be suspended or withdrawn if credentials lapse or standards are breached. Session recording, where used, requires the client’s informed consent, which the platform records.

5. Bookings, payments, and refunds

Payments are processed by Razorpay; Rudra does not store your full card details. Practitioner fees are set by practitioners. If a practitioner cancels, you receive a reschedule or a refund of the session fee. Refunds for other situations are handled case-by-case — write to support@rudraailabs.com. Statutory rights under Indian consumer law are not affected.

6. Your content

You own what you create on Rudra (journals, messages, notes). You give us the limited licence needed to store, process, and display it back to you — that’s what running the service means. We do not use your content to train AI models. Practitioners own their clinical notes, subject to their professional obligations and your rights under the Privacy Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Rudra available and safe, but no online service is uninterrupted. We may update, add, or retire features; if a change materially reduces the service you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. Rudra is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent practitioners, for decisions you take based on AI-companion output, or for indirect or consequential losses. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Rudra in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Termination

You can stop using Rudra and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, put other users at risk, or are required to be closed by law — with notice where reasonably possible.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that give you rights in your home forum.
